Black Bar's Samurai backs up to pick up bags for transport. Jim discovered one of his bags unknowingly bounced out in the 'frog pond' and had to retrieve it


Outfitters take the hikers a few miles down to start hiking at Meadow Creek. The same group rejoins us at Paradise on our 2nd night there, after a stay at Marial. For added entertainment, I managed to scrap up my left calf coming down the crappy Black Bar access

One of many new gravel bars as a result of the high winter rain flows. Agness was over 100k, Grants Pass over 20k in early January (see last graph at bottom. Current level is a bit over 2k CFS!
